We are moving forward with a church plant. We are going to schedule some preliminary meetings to see if there is enough interest.

It is going to be a very interesting experiement.  Here is the idea:

Can a church that has struggled for many years, partner with the younger generation in our group and with others and start a healthy gathering?  If people find a big enough vision to get them to focused on God's work it might very well revitalize the mother church while releasing a younger generation to shape the new gathering.

So far it is already working.  People are excited about what is going on and this excitement is spreading.  We will see what happens next.  Since we already have existing staff and don't need to do any of the initial fundraising etc, we can go into this will very little extra investment.  The first goal is to see if we can gather a number of people 50-100 and see if there is enough interest in the vision and idea.
